The Canadian Cybersecurity Cluster
Explore the UK cybersecurity market – Join the trade mission to the UK from Monday June 2 to next Friday June 6, 2025, as part of Infosecurity Europe 2025.
In-Sec-M, Canada’s cybersecurity cluster, invites you to participate in a strategic trade mission to the United Kingdom organized in partnership with the Canadian Trade Commissioner Office, the Government of Ontario and the Government of British Columbia. This mission aims to open up new avenues of growth for Canadian companies offering cybersecurity products and services, in a changing geopolitical context where market diversification is more essential than ever.
Where : United Kingdom
Date :Monday June 2 to next Friday June 6, 2025
Event : Infosecurity Europe 2025
Registration deadline : Friday, May 2, 2025, 5PM EDT
The UK is among Europe’s most advanced cybersecurity markets. By 2024, the UK cybersecurity sector was worth over £13 billion, with over 2,000 specialist companies and an average annual growth rate of 9% since 2017. The UK government is investing heavily in this area, notably through the National Cyber Strategy 2022-2030, which provides increased public funding for cyber resilience for critical infrastructure and SMEs.
Demand for innovative solutions is strong in key sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, defense and emerging technologies (AI, 5G, IoT). For Canadian companies, this is a prime opportunity to position high value-added offerings in a market aligned with North American and European standards.
The UK is a natural partner for Canada, bound by shared values, close defense cooperation, and a commercial framework strengthened by the Canada-UK Business Continuity Agreement. The regulatory environment is transparent, the legal framework is stable, and the UK technology ecosystem is renowned for its receptiveness to foreign innovation.
Faced with rising American protectionism and increased political instability in the U.S., Canadian companies need to reduce their dependence on the U.S. market. The UK represents a gateway to Europe, while offering a technologically advanced, English-speaking business environment.
Join this mission to access concrete opportunities, forge lasting links with the UK ecosystem and strengthen Canada’s presence on the international cybersecurity scene.
